John Erlandson is a senior executive with over 15 years of business development experience in the sporting goods and licensing industries. Most recently John held the Chief Business Development Officer role at Authentic Brands Group. During his tenure at Authentic Brands Group, he held various positions managing licensing and sales and was one of the key executives in driving growth of $100M to $8 Billion in just under seven years. Prior to that, John was a Sr. Vice President at Sportcraft for six years leading both sales and product development. John has also held senior leadership positions at Horizon Fitness and Fitness Quest. Which were two of the highest revenue growth businesses in the history of the fitness industry. His extensive business experience is a major asset to the Amazing Athletes franchise development team. John holds a B.S. in Kinesiology and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Temple in Philadelphia.
Janee, the founder of Amazing Athletes, is a California native. She attended Life University in Georgia where she played on the Women’s Soccer Team, earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic, and met her future husband Glen. Today they have three children: Ethan, Peyton, and Claira. Janee has completed two marathons (New York & San Diego) and is most proud to be able to help grow Amazing Athletes and actively educate future generations.
Paul brings over 25 years of fitness industry and franchise operations experience to the Amazing Athletes franchise development team. Paul graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science and earned his Master’s in Sports Performance and Injury Prevention from the California University of PA. Paul is a Certified Personal Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Paul’s innovative approach and enormous successes in operations have earned him the “Best of the Best” Award from Club Industry Magazine for “Best Professional Development Program for Staff.” Paul plays a large role in our Franchise Training and Development program to ensure each franchise owner begins and continues on the pathway to success. He currently resides in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
Christian is a Nashville native. He attended Tennessee Tech University, where he earned his degree in Marketing. He is a very fun-loving and creative individual who thinks outside of the box on a regular basis for new and inventive ways of reaching potential clients. Outside of work you can find him spending a lot of time with friends and family, cheering on the Nashville Predators, catching the latest movies, and enjoying new and adventurous restaurants around the local Nashville area.
Nick is a young hotshot designer who specializes in children’s illustrations. He graduated with a B.F.A. in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design and moved to the Nashville area with his beautiful wife where he joined the Amazing Athletes franchise development team as the Creative Director. Nick aspires to make a positive, memorable impact on children and families with his artistic skills, his love for story, and his happy-go-lucky attitude. Wes graduated from Las Positas College & SF State with a B.S. in Kinesiology & Nutrition with a strong background in Business Management & Corporate Culture. Wes brings over 15 years of franchise operations and business development experience to the team. Prior to Amazing Athletes, Wes was a Consultant in the franchise space to both franchisees and franchisors evaluating and implementing strategies around engagement, support, and a positive culture all around. He also helped evaluate the end to end business structure for franchise owners working closely with them to find opportunities for stability and growth.
